Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Solution Systems Architect to join our team. The Cloud Solution Systems Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and be able to work with clients to identify their requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Solution Systems Architect, your main responsibility is to design, develop and oversee the implementation of cloud-based systems that meet the needs of your organization’s business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify their needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for the cloud-based solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Solution Architecture Design: You will be responsible for designing cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements, align with the enterprise architecture, and comply with industry best practices. You will design and develop architecture blueprints, high-level design documents, and implementation plans to ensure the successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.
- Cloud Solution Development: You will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions, ensuring that they meet the organization’s quality standards, scalability, and security requirements. You will develop and maintain the technical design documentation and ensure that the code is properly documented, and version controlled.
- Technical Leadership: As a Cloud Solution Systems Architect, you will be a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to development teams, and ensuring that they follow industry best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud-based solutions integrate with other systems and platforms.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: You will be responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it is scalable, secure, and meets the organization’s performance and availability requirements. You will work with the Cloud Operations team to configure and deploy cloud-based infrastructure components, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Technology Evaluation: You will be responsible for evaluating new cloud-based technologies and platforms, assessing their potential benefits, and making recommendations to the organization’s leadership team. You will stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and provide thought leadership on cloud-based solutions.
- Risk Management: You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with the implementation of cloud-based solutions. You will work with the organization’s Security and Risk Management teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions are compliant with security policies and regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and manage their expectations. You will communicate the progress of cloud-based solution implementations, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and provide recommendations for improvement.
In summary, as a Cloud Solution Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of cloud-based solutions that meet the organization’s business requirements, align with the enterprise architecture, and comply with industry best practices. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture or a related field.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, including public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management tools, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and development teams.
