Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University to the approval of the Engineer. A recognized Professional Qualification from recognized institution with a professional career development records.
- Minimum 18 years demonstrable experience, of which 12 years in all aspects of supervision and management of similar size sewage Pumping Station and Rising Main projects.
- Experience must include all environmental protection aspects of the construction and operation of similar size sewerage projects.
- Must demonstrate his experience in respect of the technical proposals evaluation and its constructability, technology deployment, solving the technical problems that may arise during construction.
- Must demonstrate the extent of his knowledge and experience in respect of international construction/ contract law, contract administration procedure, staff management, hold a perceptive understanding of Public Authority procedures and be capable of interpreting statutes, codes, ordinances and regulations.
- should be able to evaluate and monitor the progress of the Works in accordance with the submitted Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) along with the Cost Breakdown Structure and Resources Breakdown Structure
- Experience in preparing construction project monthly valuation.
- Experience in preparation and evaluation of Site Instructions and Variation Orders assessments (Cost /Time).
- Experience in evaluating and verifying Contractor’s Claims and assessment of the related Variation Order (Cost /Time).
- Strong leadership quality and Ability to lead and supervise a team of multi engineering disciplines staff and contractor within contract period and meeting PWA quality objectives
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Preferably to be fluent in Arabic both written and spoken as well.
- Computer skills are mandatory.
- Proactive acumen and an ability to manage multiple sites is essential.
- Shall be registered as Grade A -from MME.
