Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the architecture section
- establish and manage technical standards and processes, ensuring they are implemented and executed effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of planning, design and construction activities by PMC vendores, designers and contractors to ensure compliance with contracts and industry standards.
- Plan and manage the allocation of architectural staff though all project phases.
- Analyze and propose solutions for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked by each member of the architecture section.
- Periodically asses workload and manpower status with the Building services section manager and recommend appropriate actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architecture
- Masters Degree in Business is preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Experience :
- Executive-level leadership experience with a minimum of 10-15 years of supervisory experience in a design firm, including technical and business management responsibiliteis.
- Proven track record in managing high-growth operations.
- Experience in Architectural Design Management, Procedure Development, General management and administration.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Qatar/Middle East.
