Rail Design Engineer (minimum 10 years, 1-4 years in GCC):
Education
- B.Sc. in Civil / Railway Engineering
- Postgraduate Diploma / M.Sc. in Transportation / Railway Systems Engineering
Core Skills & Competencies (minimum 10 years, 1 to 4 years in GCC)
· Rail Track Design & Civil Works – Alignment geometry, turnout design, track superstructure and substructure, drainage systems, and structural integration.
· Construction & Commissioning Supervision – Oversight of track laying, ballast works, welding, signalling installation, system testing, and commissioning activities.
· Systems Integration – Coordination of track, signalling, telecommunications, and power supply systems to ensure operational reliability.
· Project Phasing & Costing – Planning, sequencing, and budgeting.
· Rail Signalling & Control
· Knowledge of rail signalling power, and control systems
· Software & Tools – AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Rail Track / OpenRail, MicroStation, RailSys.
