Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and leading a team of business analysts. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to identify opportunities and develop strategies that enhance operational efficiency and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Design and implement process improvements across the organization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct detailed business analysis to identify business needs and develop solutions for business problems.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Solution Development: Translate business needs into technical requirements and guide the design of technology solutions.
  • Project Management: Lead projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Testing and Implementation: Oversee the testing and rollout of new systems or technology solutions to ensure they meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
